Electrical Design Engineer (Power Electronics)

Location: Kraków, Poland; on-site in Cracow for Junior roles and hybrid in Cracow for Mid-Level and Senior roles, with 3 office days per week

Salary: 500–1,440 PLN/day on B2B; Junior: 500–900 PLN/MD, Mid-Level: 900–1,040 PLN/MD, Senior: 1,100–1,440 PLN/MD

What you will do

• Review and approve electrical design requirements for high-power, high-voltage 800V inverter projects.
• Develop worst-case analyses, complete schematics, bills of materials, and product development documentation.
• Lead PCB layout activities in collaboration with ECAD specialists.
• Plan, prepare, and execute design verification and validation tests.
• Support validation, manufacturing development, and test teams at manufacturing plants.
• Participate in electrical DFMEA, customer interactions, and coordination with regional client sites.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office, CAD programs, and simulation tools.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
• For Mid-Level and Senior roles: experience with EMI/EMC compliance, ISO26262, FMEDA, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Mid-Level candidates require 3–5 years of experience; Senior candidates require 5+ years.
