Electrical Hardware Production Support Engineer (Power Electronics)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid work with on-site presence from Kraków

Salary: 1,000–1,400 PLN per day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Analyze production issues and investigate electrical behavior under varying production, environmental, and operating conditions.
• Act as the primary engineering interface between manufacturing plants and Product Engineering teams.
• Coordinate containment actions, escalation paths, Design of Experiments, and corrective actions.
• Investigate issues involving power semiconductors, gate drive circuits, power supplies, passive components, and electronic control hardware.
• Collaborate with electrical design, simulation, EMC, validation, reliability, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
• Document findings and incorporate lessons learned into design guidelines, engineering standards, DFMEAs, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, power electronics, manufacturing support, product development, or related disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics, circuit behavior, component variation, tolerance analysis, and electrical performance in real-world conditions.
• Experience with production testing, characterization, validation, or failure analysis.
• Knowledge of structured problem-solving methods including 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone Analysis, Design of Experiments, and statistical analysis.
• Ability to work independently, analyze technical data, and communicate recommendations across global cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience with automotive electronics or power electronics products.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations or production launch activities.
• Familiarity with semiconductor-based power conversion systems and automotive quality processes.
• Knowledge of APQP/PPAP methodologies.
