ECAD / PCB Design Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week at the client's office in Kraków, Poland

Salary: 1,000–1,440 PLN/day on a B2B contract. Detailed senior range: 1,000–1,140 PLN/day net + VAT.

What you will do

• Design and release PCB layouts and schematics for automotive electronic products using Mentor Xpedition.
• Develop PCBs for ECUs, 48V converters, high-voltage inverters, OBCs, DC/DC converters, and battery management systems.
• Define stack-ups, placement strategies, routing constraints, and design rules for 12V, 48V, 400V, and 800V systems.
• Apply SI/PI, EMI/EMC, creepage, clearance, insulation coordination, thermal, mechanical, and manufacturability requirements.
• Prepare PCB documentation in Teamcenter and support prototype builds, PCB bring-up, and design reviews.
• Collaborate with hardware, MCAD, manufacturing process, and manufacturing test teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Senior-level experience in ECAD and PCB design.
• Experience designing PCBs for EMI/EMC compliance.
• Proficiency with CAD programs, simulation tools, MS Office, and PC applications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
