Area Service Manager (HVAC)

Location: On-site five days per week in Greenville, South Carolina. Travel to customer job sites is required, including outdoor work and mechanical or equipment rooms.

Annual base salary: $83,600.00–$151,479.99. Incentive eligible; not eligible for sales commission.

What you will do

• Lead service repair, upgrades, enhancements, service agreements, new equipment installations, and ongoing customer connectivity.
• Own P&L activities, revenue forecasting, service agreement growth, budget control, margin performance, and cash flow improvement.
• Manage service coordination for emergency repairs, maintenance contracts, scheduled work, upgrades, installations, replacements, and long-term agreements.
• Recruit, coach, train, and develop service employees while balancing technician skills and district resources.
• Improve invoicing, collections, service processes, customer experience, and satisfaction.
• Ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance across the service team and customer sites.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, technical systems, equipment, skilled trades, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing and coaching large teams and organizing work schedules.
• Project management skills for service projects, startups, and customer requests.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications; Salesforce experience is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations in the previous three years.
• Ability to work on-site and travel to customer locations, including variable weather, heights, moving mechanical parts, and equipment rooms.
