PCB Layout Engineer (f/m/d)

Location: Poland; locations listed as Katowice and Krakow.

What you will do

• Develop PCB schematics and layouts, including component placement, routing, stack-up, and manufacturability.
• Define and implement PCB design guidelines for high-voltage, high-current, thermally demanding, and EMC-critical applications.
• Integrate high-performance PCB technologies such as inlay boards, heavy copper, and multilayer constructions.
• Select electrical components and maintain component libraries.
• Coordinate development activities with engineering teams, suppliers, and technology partners.
• Lead testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, performance evaluation, and preparation of technical documentation and training materials.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
• Professional experience developing and producing PCB-based power electronic components or systems.
• Knowledge of PCB development standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Knowledge of PCB boundary conditions involving power, voltage, current, and temperature, as well as embedding, high-power integration, connection technology, and multilayer PCB stack-ups.
• Experience with laboratory measurement equipment, including function generators, oscilloscopes, high-performance probes, and impedance analyzers.
• Knowledge of power-loop design and accurate measurements in harsh environments close to the power loop.
