Head of Finance - Winston-Salem Technology Center (Energy)

Location: Rural Hall, North Carolina, United States; willingness to relocate to Winston-Salem is required. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

What you will do

• Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, cost controlling, and performance management for Winston-Salem Operations.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other functions on strategic and operational decisions.
• Drive financial planning and analysis, including cost modeling, product costing, inventory management, and transfer pricing.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, governance requirements, accounting standards, IFRS, and internal controls.
• Identify financial risks, opportunities, and improvement areas that support profitability and operational efficiency.
• Lead, develop, and motivate the local Finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, FP&A, Controlling, or a related discipline.
• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, cost modeling, inventory management, product costing, transfer pricing, and financial governance.
• Experience analyzing complex business issues, influencing strategic decisions, and managing direct reports.
• Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel, with advanced financial, analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Strong English communication skills and legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship are required.

• Experience in the power industry or a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Alteryx or other digitalization tools.
