Branch Finance Director (Manufacturing)

Location: Columbus, OH; local candidates are required, with proximity to a major manufacturing facility. The role requires up to 15% domestic travel and is performed in a professional office environment.

Salary: $123,700–$210,300 per year.

What you will do

• Own branch financial closing cycles, financial statements, consolidations, analysis, audits, and internal controls.
• Develop budgets and forecasts, analyze trends, and provide financial guidance to achieve profitability targets.
• Partner with branch and North America leadership to support strategic decisions, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop local finance, purchasing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable teams.
• Monitor expenses and capital expenditure initiatives while identifying cost-reduction and productivity opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional projects involving automation, process improvement, business integration, and project ROI analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience, including experience supporting sales and operations and working in a senior financial role.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, strategic business partnering, and advanced financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of costing methodologies, manufacturing KPIs, ERP finance and costing modules, and financial reporting standards including US GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, project management, and continuous improvement skills.

Nice to have

• MBA or another relevant advanced degree.
• At least 5 years supporting sales and operations.
