Director of SEC and Internal Management Reporting

Location: Onsite at the HPE headquarters in Spring, Texas, United States

Salary: USD 143,500–347,500 annual base salary; variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Lead timely and accurate preparation and filing of Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, and other SEC reports.
• Support the investor relations team during earnings processes, Security Analyst Meetings, and related external reporting.
• Coordinate with EY, investor relations, business finance teams, Corporate FP&A, tax, legal, and other stakeholders.
• Drive adherence to US GAAP, financial reporting requirements, and organizational policies.
• Research and interpret complex technical accounting and financial reporting matters.
• Manage multiple deadlines and communicate accounting conclusions across diverse audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree focused on accounting, finance, or business.
• 12+ years of experience in a finance function.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting guidelines.
• Understanding of contract manufacturing agreements, product financing arrangements, vendor rebates, standard costing, and excess and obsolescence reserves.
• Excellent project management, people management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with business applications such as Microsoft Excel and SAP.

Nice to have

• CPA, equivalent qualification, or MBA.
• Big Four public accounting experience.
• Experience in the technology industry and with international companies.
