IT Compliance & Governance Analyst (Jira/ServiceNow)

Location: San Francisco, California; hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

What you will do

• Manage and groom Jira backlogs, facilitate story refinement, and run scrum and monthly coordination meetings.
• Design and operationalize reports, dashboards, and metrics for IT hygiene adoption, maturity, and effectiveness.
• Assess policy adherence, identify non-compliance, analyze performance trends, and recommend improvements.
• Develop intake processes, remediation workflows, and scalable IT governance frameworks across teams.
• Partner with IT leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve operational maturity.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in IT compliance, governance, data analytics, or related functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Hands-on Jira expertise in backlog management, story grooming, and reporting, plus familiarity with ServiceNow.
• Experience developing reports and analyzing complex datasets with Power BI, Excel, or ServiceNow Analytics.
• Understanding of IT governance frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills.
