Staff Developer Advocate (AI/ML)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; hybrid work model for office-based teams.

Annual base salary: $190,000–$210,000 USD, plus discretionary bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Create technical content including deep-dive tutorials, code samples, technical blogs, and reference architectures.
• Increase awareness and adoption through keynote presentations, workshops, hackathons, conferences, podcasts, and community engagement.
• Represent developer feedback to Product and Engineering teams and influence product roadmaps and developer experience.
• Build industry recognition through speaking at technology conferences, shows, and press events.
• Mentor junior developer advocates and community managers while developing a strong DevRel culture.
• Establish AI-native experimentation, automation, and testing frameworks across content formats, channels, and topics.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, Solutions Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Experience with infrastructure, developer tools, and AI/ML technologies.
• Hands-on expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LLMs, distributed training, vLLM, Hugging Face, CUDA, cloud infrastructure, GPUs, distributed systems, and AI model deployment.
• Strong public speaking, technical storytelling, keynote speaking, podcasting, community-building, and technical content creation skills.
• Experience developing technology solutions and communicating end-to-end roadmaps for cloud transformation.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple initiatives, and travel internationally when needed.
