Associate Inside Sales Representative (Building Industry)

Location: Stockton, California, United States; full-time onsite position

Salary: $20.91–$31.39 per hour

What you will do

• Answer customer calls and provide accurate pricing, ship dates, freight estimates, catalog information, and product-use guidance.
• Provide limited technical assistance and respond professionally to contractors, builders, wholesale distributors, and other customers.
• Enter customer orders, convert quotes to orders, price special orders, and initiate quality notifications.
• Track shipments and coordinate order fulfillment with other branches.
• Act as a liaison between customers, production, and shipping departments to support timely delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to solve customer problems, manage changing priorities, and maintain productive customer relationships.
• Clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to interpret construction documents and building plans.
• Strong attention to detail, reasoning, teamwork, accountability, and dependability.
• Must work full-time onsite in Stockton, California; relocation is not available.
