Focus on maintaining .0003-inch tolerances, inspecting completed work, modifying machine parameters, and programming Mazak, Haas, or DMG equipment across evening and weekend shifts.
Location: United States; evening, weekend day, and weekend night shifts available.

What you will do
- Set up, program, edit, and operate CNC lathes, mills, drills, and other numerically controlled machinery.
- Work from routings, drawings, sketches, layouts, and written or verbal instructions.
- Maintain machining quality and tolerances within 0.0003 inches.
- Preset and resharpen tools, adjust machine parameters, and work with stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, brass, and exotic materials.
- Inspect completed work with micrometers, bore gauges, vernier calipers, and other measuring instruments.
- Follow maintenance and safety procedures, report equipment issues, complete labor records, and maintain an orderly work area.
Requirements
- Previous CNC machining experience and at least 3 years of CNC programming and operating experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical school education, and working machinist knowledge, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to operate at least two CNC machine tools and read and interpret machine drawings.
- Previous manual machinist experience and knowledge of numerical control machining required.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations, solve elementary technical problems, modify machine parameters, and adapt programming to different machines.
- Detail orientation, independent judgment, organization, communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Nice to have
- Day shift: Mazak lathe experience preferred; Haas and DMG lathe experience is a plus.
- Evening shift: Mazak mill experience preferred; Integrex and Haas mill experience is a plus.
