CNC Operator (Weekend - Night Shift) (Mazak)

Location: Pasadena, Texas, USA; onsite

What you will do

• Set up and operate lathes, mills, and CNC machines safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production program issues on the shop floor.
• Develop offline CNC programs for critical paths and production bottlenecks.
• Support new product introductions and project-related programming activities.
• Improve programming efficiency, cycle times, throughput, and machine utilization.
• Train and assist other CNC setup operators while documenting manufacturing activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with Mazak milling machines.
• Proficiency in metalworking and the ability to use shop mathematics, charts, and tables.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime, lift and carry up to 40 pounds, and perform physical shop-floor duties.
• Ability to manage multiple objectives and changing priorities in a manufacturing environment.
