Director, Research Operations (Education Research)

Location: Remote within the United States; employees near hirify.global offices may choose fully remote or hybrid work with in-office attendance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Occasional business travel is required, approximately four times per year.

Salary: $80,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and maintain portfolio-tracking infrastructure that provides leadership with real-time visibility into goals, progress, risks, tradeoffs, and priorities.
• Manage cross-team operating infrastructure, including communications, publication workflows, data and vendor administration, budget processes, reporting, and transparency tools.
• Coordinate research workstreams, analyze data, synthesize literature, and translate evidence into implications and recommendations for internal partners.
• Monitor external research, combine it with internal hirify.global evidence, and maintain a dynamic, accessible, actionable research repository.
• Standardize and simplify operational processes, tools, and workflows while developing a scalable operating model and training team members.
• Coordinate with hirify.global programs and engagement teams to ensure research evidence is used by decision-makers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in research operations leadership, organizational enablement, or related roles in complex, technical, or analytics-driven environments.
• Bachelor’s degree and experience working closely with a senior executive.
• Experience working with research teams or in research-adjacent environments, including familiarity with research design, implementation, and communication.
• Experience designing scalable operating models, processes, and systems across multiple portfolios and competing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and evidence-synthesis skills, with comfort navigating ambiguity.
• Authorization to work in the United States and ability to travel approximately four times per year are required.
