Manager, Hardware Testing (APAC)

Location: Needham, Massachusetts, United States; the role leads test operations across APAC sites.

Annual salary: $140,000–$170,000 USD

What you will do

• Own and expand hardware and software test programs across APAC, including protocols, execution standards, KPIs, and reporting.
• Partner with R&D, Program Management, Regulatory, and Customer Experience teams to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Define and maintain test protocols from component validation through system integration across product development and manufacturing sites.
• Lead integration testing across firmware, embedded software, and hardware, improving throughput and repeatability.
• Drive root cause analysis, defect prevention, and continuous improvement of test operations.
• Build and develop a regional test engineering team and connect APAC methodologies with global standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 7+ years of experience in test engineering or product validation within consumer electronics or hardware.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional hardware and software test programs.
• Strong engineering judgment, data-driven problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership across cultures and time zones.
• Experience with embedded systems, firmware validation, or connected products is preferred.
• Familiarity with TestRail, Jira, HIL/SIL frameworks, and DQTP is preferred.
