Industrial Maintenance Technician 1st shift- Chardon, OH

Location: Chardon, Ohio, United States. Onsite work at the Chardon manufacturing facility. First shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:45 a.m.–5:15 p.m.; overtime available.

Pay range: $28–$38 per hour, depending on experience and skills. A $1,000 hiring bonus is paid as $500 after three months and $500 after six months.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment in the manufacturing facility.
• Install and configure AC and DC drives and troubleshoot 480V three-phase motor circuit controls.
• Perform basic PLC troubleshooting and complete preventive maintenance according to established programs.
• Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, instructions, and technical manuals.
• Document repair completion and report required supplies.
• Support production-area maintenance and other operational duties as needed.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of prior industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V.
• Mathematical and mechanical reasoning, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand, walk, twist, and lift or lower weights up to 50 pounds.
• Successful completion of a written and hands-on skills test.
