Industrial Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Denton, Texas, United States. 12-hour overnight shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a rotating weekly schedule and every other weekend.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, automation, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment to minimize production downtime.
• Inspect and maintain rotary machines, conveyor systems, motors, pumps, and hydraulic equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and identify equipment upgrades or process improvements.
• Use diagnostic tools, technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and precision instruments to resolve equipment issues.
• Record work orders, repairs, and parts inventory in a computerized maintenance management system.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel, vendors, and contractors; assist with new equipment installation and commissioning; and train operators on basic maintenance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, PLCs, VFDs, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance practices and experience with CMMS.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields is preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, overnight hours, weekends, and overtime as needed, while following industrial safety regulations.
