Senior Legal Transformation Manager (AI)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; most teams work from the office full time.

Salary: $121,000–$195,800 per year, with potential bonus and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Support and co-lead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of enterprise legal technology and process optimization initiatives.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain AI solutions and workflows using approved platforms such as Gemini, Legora, and Claude Code.
• Create responsible AI guardrails, technical documentation, business cases, BRDs, SOPs, and governance materials.
• Design change-management, training, communications, and user-adoption programs for legal technologies and processes.
• Build legal data and analytics frameworks, KPI reporting, and dashboards for CLM, eBilling, compliance, and other legal systems using tools such as Tableau.
• Map legal workflows and coordinate integrations with IT, Information Security, Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Legal Operations, Legal Technology, or Legal Transformation.
• Experience as a Legal AI Engineer or Technical Project Manager implementing legal technology solutions.
• Demonstrated success in department transformation, change management, process enablement, and measuring ROI for legal technology deployments.
• Strong understanding of legal practice areas, intake workflows, legal department operations, data analytics frameworks, and complex dashboards.
• Excellent communication skills for translating between technical IT requirements and legal business needs.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Certifications and experience building and deploying GenAI tools and agents for legal processes.
• Familiarity with Legora, Gemini, Salesforce, Ironclad, and API or downstream integrations.
• Advanced project management certification such as PMP or Agile.
