Senior Business Development Manager (Invoice Finance)

What you will do

• Originate and close higher-value, strategically important Invoice Finance opportunities.
• Structure complex lending proposals and work closely with credit teams to complete transactions.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with brokers, introducers, and accountancy firms.
• Develop new-to-bank opportunities through direct outreach and cross-sell referrals.
• Mentor junior BDMs and share best practices in prospecting, qualification, and deal structuring.
• Contribute to the commercial business plan and deliver income against business targets.

Requirements

• Substantial experience originating new business in Invoice Finance or closely related SME lending products.
• Demonstrated success managing larger and more complex deals.
• Strong understanding of the Invoice Finance market, deal structuring, and credit considerations.
• Experience building strategically important introducer and broker relationships.
• Strong commercial judgment and experience identifying cross-sell opportunities.
• Ability to work autonomously, handle ambiguity, and mentor colleagues without formal management responsibility.
