Director, Business Systems (Data Management)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; regular travel and occasional evening or weekend participation may be required.

Salary: $90,000–$95,000 annually, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise data strategy, architecture, data models, and system roadmaps.
• Manage CRM platforms and connected systems, including integrations, reliability, security, and data quality.
• Establish governance, documentation, access, privacy, security, and retention standards.
• Develop reporting, dashboards, metrics, and insights for organizational decision-making.
• Partner with internal teams and vendors on workflows, implementations, budgets, testing, and technology investments.
• Train and support users to improve adoption and maintain high-quality data.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in data operations, CRM administration, business systems, analytics, or related work.
• Experience managing CRM and data environments, including integrations, workflows, reporting, data quality, and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Virtuous, Microsoft Dynamics, Blackbaud, or comparable CRM platforms.
• Working knowledge of APIs, automation, data modeling, imports and exports, querying, reporting, and BI tools.
• Experience with data governance, quality, access, privacy, security, retention, and documentation standards.
• Strong communication, project management, analytical, problem-solving, training, and stakeholder management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, mission-driven, or decentralized organizations.
