Data Governance Platform Manager (AI)

Location: Remote from Mexico, Colombia, Peru, or Uruguay

Base salary: $75,000–$120,000 per year

hirify.global operates an on-demand marketplace for lawn care and outdoor services and is expanding into a broader home-services platform across hirify.global, Lawn Love, and Home Gnome.

What you will do

• Own the data governance roadmap across product, marketing, operations, and finance.
• Build automated monitoring for data quality, freshness, anomalies, lineage, and source-data changes.
• Administer the Lightdash migration, including workspace structure, permissions, certification, naming standards, self-service enablement, query performance, and warehouse cost control.
• Extend the governed semantic layer and maintain one authoritative definition for each metric.
• Manage Segment event-tracking governance, including event standards, property dictionaries, ownership, lifecycle reviews, and drift detection.
• Improve AI data readiness, privacy, access controls, PII handling, retention, and data-contract workflows.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with data warehouses and pipelines, including SQL, Redshift, dbt, and Airflow or comparable technologies.
• Experience keeping a BI platform and tracking plan healthy at company scale.
• Ability to lead while continuing to build, debug pipelines, write checks, and configure permissions personally.
• Strong product thinking, roadmap ownership, prioritization, stakeholder management, and data-governance judgment.
• Automation-first approach to monitoring, anomaly detection, documentation, and recurring quality checks.
• Comfort using AI tools to build automation and govern data consumed by AI agents.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lightdash, Tableau, Metabase, Segment, Fivetran, or AI-powered analytics observability tools.
• Experience establishing data contracts and integrating impact analysis into engineering change reviews.
