Senior People Business Partner (HRBP)

Location: Hybrid in San Jose, California, with on-site work three days per week. Exceptional candidates in the West Coast timezone may work remotely if they can travel to the Bay Area at least once per quarter. Hiring is currently available in AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, IA, ID, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VT, VA, and WA. Access to export-controlled information requires U.S. person status or eligibility for the applicable export authorization.

Salary: $173,000–$191,000 per year, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Architect and launch people operations programs, including manager training and talent review cycles.
• Evaluate workflows and build scalable solutions that reduce operational friction and organizational risk.
• Coach directors and frontline managers on leadership, performance management, feedback, and policy execution.
• Identify and resolve complex employee-relations matters, personnel challenges, and culture vulnerabilities.
• Build documentation and provide an approachable point of partnership for employees and managers across the organization.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of progressive HRBP or People Operations experience in fast-paced environments.
• Experience owning both strategic program design and tactical implementation.
• Demonstrated success designing and facilitating manager-development initiatives and coaching leadership cohorts.
• Strong autonomy, project-roadmap development, judgment, discretion, emotional intelligence, and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with Rippling, Lattice, Google Workspace, and Confluence.
• Must meet U.S. export-control access requirements and be able to work within the stated U.S. hiring and location constraints.
