Product Manager II (Scholarly Publishing)

Location: London Wall, UK; minimum two days per week in the London Wall office. Hybrid work from the office and home is available.

What you will do

• Lead discovery and delivery for feature areas within SSRN's preprint service.
• Engage with researchers and scholarly communities to gather, prioritise, and validate needs.
• Formulate problem statements and test hypotheses using data, analytics, and A/B testing.
• Write product requirements, user stories, PRDs, and specifications, while managing backlog prioritisation.
• Identify and prioritise production issues and defects through resolution.
• Support stakeholder demonstrations, launch readiness, go-to-market materials, and feature-area roadmap planning.

Requirements

• Experience gathering and prioritising customer requirements through structured discovery.
• Ability to write clear requirements across multiple formats and manage them through delivery.
• Experience using data and analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Hotjar, Pendo, or equivalent.
• Experience supporting go-to-market activity and communicating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI tools and services and their application to process improvement and product delivery.
• Track record of delivering features against measurable outcomes while working independently across multiple workstreams.
