Accounting Manager

What you will do

• Lead and mentor the accounting team while promoting continuous improvement.
• Manage global monthly close and general ledger activities, including journal entries for fixed assets, debt, software capitalization, payroll, employee stock, accounts receivable, and cash.
• Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations.
• Apply technical accounting research to evaluate transactions under US GAAP and document conclusions.
• Integrate domestic and international acquisitions.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, accelerate close, improve data quality, strengthen controls, and standardize processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ability to implement new accounting guidance in an international business environment.
• Experience with a major accounting system such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
• Strong people management, mentoring, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA certification is preferred.
• Experience documenting and improving systems and processes is preferred.
