Manager, Technical and Corporate Accounting

What you will do

• Own monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including statements of cash flows, journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead technical accounting analyses and resolve complex U.S. GAAP matters across revenue, leases, stock-based compensation, software, impairment, consolidations, and multi-entity structures.
• Manage equity and other compensation awards accounting in partnership with Equity Administration.
• Support external audits by coordinating PBC requests, preparing technical memorandums, drafting financial statements and footnotes, and completing tie-outs.
• Maintain accounting policies, monitor emerging standards, and translate new guidance into implementation plans, disclosures, reporting calendars, and scalable processes.
• Use AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to automate recurring accounting workflows and accelerate the close.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting, accounting advisory, corporate controllership, or complex financial reporting.
• Broad U.S. GAAP expertise and experience with equity accounting, capitalization tables, and equity rollforwards.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or a similar ERP, close management tools, equity administration systems, and advanced Excel.
• Strong ability to prepare audit-ready technical memorandums, reconcile discrepancies independently, and manage competing priorities.

Nice to have

• Big Four or national accounting firm experience.
• Hands-on experience applying Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools to accounting workflows.
