Delivery Solutions Architect (Data & AI)

Location: United States; U.S. citizenship required. Travel of up to 30% may be required, including for client site access.

Salary: $180,000–$247,500 USD per year, with potential performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead post-sale technical account strategies and execution plans for strategic State, Local, and Education customers.
• Own onboarding, enablement, go-live, production adoption, and healthy consumption across multiple Databricks use cases.
• Act as the primary technical contact for production and go-live issues, coordinating escalations and specialist resources.
• Coordinate Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Support, User Education, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Develop roadmaps covering use-case delivery, user growth, product adoption, cloud cost control, tuning, optimization, and governance.
• Report customer health, risks, investment status, adoption, and use-case progression to technical leadership.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required to access classified information and meet federal contract and client site access requirements.
• 7+ years of experience accountable for technical project or program delivery in Data and AI.
• Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting.
• Knowledge of distributed data systems, solution architecture, business value attribution, and technical program management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
• Experience leading discovery workshops, strategic roadmaps, business analysis, and complex program delivery.
• Track record of exceeding quotas, goals, or similar objective targets.
