Accountant, JV & VIE

Location: Dallas, TX, United States. Applicants must have U.S. work authorization that does not require sponsorship now or in the future and must meet applicable U.S. export-control access requirements.

Base salary: $75,000–$100,000 per year, plus potential bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Coordinate capital draw payments for joint venture arrangements from request through approval and funding.
• Prepare draw packages and verify that documentation complies with JV operating agreements.
• Manage the capital draw calendar, funding schedules, deadlines, approvals, and open items.
• Communicate draw status and requirements to internal reviewers, senior stakeholders, and JV partners.
• Maintain audit-ready records of requests, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Support month-end close and reporting while improving draw processes, trackers, and templates.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, treasury, business coordination, or project coordination.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage schedules, deadlines, follow-ups, and multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Strong Excel skills and experience maintaining trackers, calendars, and status reports.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in a high-growth environment with ambiguity or incomplete data.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future company sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience coordinating payments, funding processes, or capital calls.
• Background in treasury, lending, fund administration, title, or escrow.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience working with AI tools.
• Interest in developing expertise in JV accounting.
