Finance Associate, Accounting

Location: Hybrid role based at the Westport, Connecticut campus, with onsite attendance required four days per week

Compensation: $120,000–$165,000 wage range, inclusive of base salary and discretionary target bonus; expected base salary is 80%–90% of this range

What you will do

• Support the Corporate Accounting team with monthly close deliverables and prepare financial information for internal stakeholders.
• Manage aspects of financial audits, including direct interaction with external auditors and internal business partners.
• Execute accounting processes across various balance sheet accounts and respond to ad hoc requests.
• Evaluate manual, fragile, or redundant accounting processes and identify opportunities for technology-enabled improvements.
• Build business cases for process and control changes and guide implementation with Finance, technology, and vendor teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting with a strong academic record.
• 1–3 years of accounting or audit experience; Big Four experience is a strong plus.
• CPA certification or active progress toward certification.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems such as Workday, Office Connect, and Workiva.
• Experience using AI tools, with sufficient accounting expertise to review AI-generated output for accuracy and completeness.
• Availability to work onsite at the Westport, Connecticut campus four days per week.
