Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Project Lead

Base pay: €96,000–€165,025 per year

What you will do

• Lead the Beerse site project team and deliver the Manufacturing Execution System transformation.
• Convert manufacturing batch information and records from a document-based process to an integrated digital system with workflow management.
• Coordinate integrations with manufacturing equipment, SAP, LIMS, Truvault, and other key systems.
• Own project execution across scope, schedule, budget, quality, regulatory requirements, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Act as the primary contact for the project team, sponsor, steering committee, site stakeholders, and global organization.
• Drive deployment standards, change management, stakeholder alignment, and delivery of the final project objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-based discipline; life sciences, pharmacy, or chemical engineering is preferred.
• At least 10 years of operations and project management experience in pharmaceuticals.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations, regulatory processes, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Knowledge of automation and IT systems in regulated environments; GAMP and SDLC experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead across organizational boundaries through influence, negotiation, and stakeholder partnering.
• Proficiency in English and Dutch, both oral and written, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in quality or regulatory compliance within pharmaceuticals.
• Knowledge of GAMP and SDLC requirements.
• Experience with analytics dashboards, robotic automation, process improvement, and project management methodologies.
