Engineering (Manufacturing) Industrial Placement 2027 (Manufacturing)

Location: London Plant (West Thurrock), UK; on-site manufacturing placement

What you will do

• Work on live engineering projects and business challenges at the London manufacturing plant.
• Improve the capability, safety, productivity, and sustainability of manufacturing systems.
• Help maintain operational efficiency and product quality from raw materials through finished products.
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and lead project work from the start of the placement.
• Work with engineers and plant technicians across different manufacturing areas.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the UK for the full placement period without sponsorship.
• Must be available from 5 July 2027 to 30 June 2028, for at least 37.5 hours per week.
• University students graduating in 2029 with a placement year, as well as eligible students graduating in 2027 or 2028 and graduates.
• Foundational understanding of engineering principles in the chosen field.
• Problem-solving, leadership, and strong verbal and written English skills.
• Evidence of achievements or commitment in academic or non-academic activities.
