Location: Cramlington, Northumberland, United Kingdom; assessment centre held on site

What you will do

  • Support Production Coaches and the IPT Production Lead with daily manufacturing operations.
  • Provide technical support across IPT processes and execute assigned improvement projects.
  • Apply current Good Manufacturing Practices and follow regulated production procedures.
  • Investigate safety incidents, atypical events, and customer complaints by identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of safety, quality, supply, and cost performance.

Requirements

  • Currently studying for a BSc (Hons) in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
  • Available for a 12-month placement beginning by August 2027 and returning to the degree course afterward.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships across teams.
  • Ability to work in a regulated manufacturing environment and follow policies, procedures, guidelines, and SOPs.

Hiring process

  • Participate in an initial informal discussion between 9 and 18 November 2026.
  • Attend an on-site assessment centre and final interview in early December 2026, including a site tour and practical activities.
