Full Stack Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina, US; hybrid with in-office work 3 days per week

Salary: $108,000–$131,000 per year

What you will do

• Own well-scoped features from implementation through production and deliver them in small, independently shippable increments.
• Build full-stack product experiences with a strong focus on Vue, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Develop backend services, APIs, MCP integrations, and AI-powered capabilities using LLMs and agentic workflows.
• Write maintainable, production-ready code and apply unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.
• Use AI coding tools as part of the daily development workflow while reviewing generated code rigorously.
• Participate in planning, technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvements to reliability and delivery practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building and shipping production web applications.
• Full-stack development experience with backend services and APIs, plus strong frontend experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a component-based framework.
• Daily use of AI tools in software development and the ability to independently deliver well-scoped features.
• Experience with appropriate unit, integration, or end-to-end testing strategies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including planning, technical discussions, and code reviews.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue and TypeScript.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets, long-running queries, or asynchronous processing.
• Experience building AI-powered product features with LLM APIs, agents, or Model Context Protocol.
• Experience with Go or GCP, safe rollout patterns, feature flags, canary releases, and accessible web experiences.
