What you will do
- Lead electrical engineering for large-scale mission-critical data center power projects involving generation, storage, substations, utility interconnections, microgrids, and medium- and high-voltage distribution.
- Develop electrical bases of design, conceptual and preliminary designs, one-line diagrams, site layouts, grounding, protection, control, metering, and communications architectures.
- Define reliability, redundancy, availability, maintainability, system stability, transient response, black-start, and phased load-growth requirements.
- Perform or oversee load-flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, arc-flash, harmonic, grounding, transient-stability, and generator or inverter integration studies.
- Prepare technical requirements and procurement specifications, evaluate equipment and vendors, and support utility interconnection applications and studies.
- Provide technical oversight of engineers of record, facilitate design and constructability reviews, and review commissioning procedures and test results.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
