Operations and Maintenance Technician (Gas Processing)

Location: Woodland Meadows Expansion High BTU gas process facility, Canton, Michigan, United States. Onsite work with an 8-hour weekly shift plus after-hours and weekend callout responsibilities as required.

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and control compressors, blowers, pumps, coolers, process vessels, valves, chillers, filters, gas analyzers, and related plant systems.
• Inspect equipment, identify reliability improvements, implement corrective actions, and minimize operational downtime.
• Diagnose operational issues and coordinate maintenance activities with plant operators and maintenance personnel.
• Prepare plant performance, maintenance, compliance, and incident records for management review.
• Develop and deliver operator training and communicate timely updates to operations, maintenance, and management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company standards, hazardous-material requirements, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• At least two years of equipment operations experience using mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, or control-system skills.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Valid United States driver's license required.
• Knowledge of AC/DC electricity, arc-flash hazards, electrical and electronic testing equipment, and basic computer applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and provide after-hours, weekend, travel, or varied-schedule support when required.

Nice to have

• Mechanical maintenance experience with blowers, compressors, and related equipment.
• Gas processing or similar plant systems experience, including PLCs and electrical power equipment.
• Experience supervising operations and maintenance personnel, planning plant maintenance outages, and developing work schedules.
