E&C Technician (Gas Pipelines)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, install, repair, and operate mechanical, electrical, and instrument equipment.
• Maintain PLCs, control valves, alarms, sensors, motor controls, and related equipment.
• Perform electrical maintenance, equipment callouts, inspections, and repairs at the assigned location.
• Read electrical prints, make red-line changes, and assist PLC programming personnel.
• Work with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and construction projects; supervise electrical contractors.
• Maintain emergency repair-parts inventory, company vehicles, and clear communication with supervisors and customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0–1 year of experience or equivalent knowledge; job level is commensurate with experience.
• General knowledge of compressor stations, gathering systems, and processing plant operations.
• Valid operating license and an acceptable driving record under company insurance requirements.
• Strong communication, customer-orientation, basic mathematics, practical judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, climb, work in confined areas and at heights, and handle loads up to 75 pounds; subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Nice to have

• Journeyman electrician qualification.
• Experience with Maximo or another enterprise asset management application.
