Project Manager I (Aerospace)

Location: Sparks, Nevada, United States; hybrid office and remote work

What you will do

• Manage projects from initiation and design through execution, release, delivery, and closeout.
• Develop and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and performance measures.
• Coordinate project resources and allocation across internal teams and field-based personnel.
• Interface with internal and external customers on technical and project matters.
• Track milestones, budgets, risks, scope, and project progress; prepare status reports for stakeholders.
• Serve as a Control Account Manager on larger programs when needed and travel as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Without a degree, at least six years of related experience is required.
• At least two years of project management or related technical experience, excluding internships.
• Experience managing a project and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Strong analytical, communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet schedules independently and collaboratively.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance are required.
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and in a hybrid environment.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management tools or similar systems.
• Experience with budget development, scope control, resource planning, and risk management.
• Familiarity with government contracting and regulations.
