Project Engineer III (Ground Support Equipment)

Location: Louisville, Colorado, United States. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

Salary: $119,064–$163,713 per year.

What you will do

• Lead small cross-functional teams and GSE/tooling projects for integrated vehicle and solar product lines.
• Oversee the design, development, integration, and implementation of engineering solutions.
• Balance technical requirements, quality, cost, schedule, and project constraints.
• Conduct trade studies, technical evaluations, estimates, and risk and opportunity management.
• Develop and manage supplier Statements of Work while coordinating with contracts and quality teams.
• Communicate project status and technical plans across engineering, program, functional, and customer teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, equivalent work experience, or a master’s degree with three years of experience.
• Typically 5+ years of related experience and advanced engineering expertise.
• Experience leading technical teams and completing projects within budget and schedule constraints.
• Knowledge of GSE/tooling development in manufacturing, testing, or ground operations environments.
• Knowledge of risk and opportunity management and at least two non-engineering functional disciplines.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional certification.
• Systems engineering and integration experience.
• Experience with MS Project, Primavera, CAD, engineering design tools, or product lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies.
• Experience managing project budgets and driving continuous improvement.
