Manager, Corporate Strategy

Location: Maplewood, Minnesota, United States; hybrid work with travel to Maplewood required at least 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday. Travel may include up to 15% domestic and international travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Expected compensation: $221,591–$270,834, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Lead strategic initiatives sponsored by senior executives and operating committee members.
• Manage corporate portfolio projects focused on value creation, growth, resource allocation, business creation, and M&A.
• Support annual strategic planning, including executive- and board-level strategy formulation, business cases, and presentation development.
• Track industry and competitive trends and develop business outlooks and forecasts.
• Build rigorous, fact-based quantitative analyses to support strategic recommendations.
• Ensure recommendations are strategically and financially sound and aligned with corporate objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified before starting.
• At least 5 years of strategy experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Ability to lead complex projects and multiple workstreams independently.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, statistical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
• Significant experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to work from or regularly travel to Maplewood, Minnesota at least 4 days per week.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of experience at a leading strategy consulting firm or in a similar corporate strategy role.
• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Experience leading high-impact projects and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with advanced analytics tools such as Tableau.
