Director, Corporate Strategy (Corporate Strategy)

Location: Virtual, Illinois, United States of America; occasional travel to physical office locations may be required.

Salary: USD 170,000–220,000 per year, plus potential bonus or incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop near-term and long-term corporate growth strategies, market opportunity assessments, competitive positioning, and enterprise priorities.
• Lead enterprise-wide strategic assessments covering growth, profitability, portfolio optimization, and value creation.
• Partner with executive, business, product, and segment leaders on solution strategies, investment priorities, and customer segmentation.
• Build quantitative analyses, financial models, business cases, valuations, and investment evaluations.
• Support M&A, partnerships, and investment activities through commercial diligence, market analysis, valuation, and synergy evaluation.
• Prepare data-driven recommendations and materials for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years at a top-tier strategy consulting firm.
• Experience in corporate strategy, investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, valuation, or corporate development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex strategic analyses and influence executive decision-making.
• Strong financial modeling, business case development, market analysis, valuation, and investment evaluation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
