Corporate Strategy Director (Asset Management)

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States; hybrid schedule with up to one day per week from home.

Base salary: $159,000–$272,000 annually for Maryland, Colorado, Washington, and remote workers. Additional salary ranges apply to Washington, D.C., New York, and California.

What you will do

• Define and execute the firm’s long-term strategic agenda with senior leadership.
• Evaluate growth opportunities, competitive dynamics, client needs, distribution models, and product strategies.
• Synthesize data from multiple sources into compelling strategic insights and recommendations.
• Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across strategic planning, enterprise transformation, growth, operating model design, and product innovation.
• Advise executive stakeholders and support critical business initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant experience, plus 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm or leading corporate strategy function with progressive responsibility.
• Demonstrated success advising C-suite and senior executives on strategic decisions.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional projects and multiple workstreams.
• Exceptional problem-solving, hypothesis-driven analytical, executive communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business performance drivers.

Nice to have

• Experience in asset management, wealth management, financial services, or fintech.
• MBA from a leading program.
• Experience supporting board-level or executive committee discussions.
• Experience leading strategic initiatives through implementation and change management.
