Salary: $162,700–$243,800 per year

What you will do
- Lead comprehensive HR support for the St. Paul Park Refinery, including employee relations, staffing, compensation, benefits, and strategic planning.
- Partner with site leaders and HR Centers of Excellence on workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, leadership development, inclusion, and career programs.
- Manage labor relations activities, including union negotiations, contract administration, arbitrations, and other union-related matters.
- Lead compensation administration, bonus plans, recognition programs, HR budgeting, and operating recommendations.
- Serve as the refinery’s Public Information Officer and on-site communications lead during incident management activities.
- Build relationships with community stakeholders and participate in local community initiatives and advisory meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor and Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of broad HR experience; supervisory experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR, business, and organizational processes, with strategic and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to develop and support teams, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-management, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree, which may substitute for up to two years of required professional experience.
- Experience in petroleum, utilities, manufacturing, or a related industry.
