Director, Human Resources (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Irvine, California, United States. Relocation is available. Occasional business travel and a non-standard schedule may be required.

Salary: $220,000–$270,000 annually, with potential bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Act as a strategic HR partner to the Site Vice President, General Manager, and Manufacturing Leadership Team.
• Develop workforce plans and annual people strategies aligned with manufacturing business objectives.
• Lead talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Advise on employee relations, investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and employment compliance.
• Coach leaders through organizational change and workforce transitions.
• Use workforce metrics and analytics to improve retention, engagement, productivity, and organizational performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive human resources experience, including 5+ years in HR leadership.
• Expertise in employee relations, talent management, organizational development, change management, workforce planning, and leadership coaching.
• Experience supporting training, compliance, compensation, benefits, recruitment, and talent acquisition strategies.
• Valid driver’s license and passport; ability to travel occasionally and work a non-standard schedule as needed.
• Regular and predictable onsite attendance in Irvine, California is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing.
• Experience supporting global matrix organizations and using HR analytics or workforce planning systems.
