Asset Finance Collections Rep II

Location: Akron, Ohio, United States. Workplace type: Office. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.

Salary: $21.00–$41.50 hourly, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage delinquency levels for an assigned portfolio of accounts in the 30–89 day aging categories.
• Contact delinquent customers through outbound calls and letters and use third-party providers when necessary.
• Reconcile payment and billing histories and help customers resolve account discrepancies.
• Review consumer and commercial credit bureau reports and other credit information.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and recommend modification, default, repossession, or transfer to late-stage collections.
• Communicate with customers, representatives, program or dealer partners, servicing sources, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of collections experience, preferably in commercial collections.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong PC skills, including Excel.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States.
