Collections Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Lehi, Utah. Hybrid work model with in-office attendance required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; remote placement will not be considered. Work-from-home arrangements, where applicable, require living and working within 75 miles of the hiring office.

Pay: $18.00 per hour base salary plus monthly performance-based bonuses; average earnings of $22–$25 per hour.

What you will do

• Make approximately 100–120 outbound collections calls per day using an auto-dialer in a high-volume environment.
• Navigate difficult customer conversations, overcome objections, ask clarifying questions, and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Understand customers’ goals and needs and tailor solutions using company tools and resources.
• Manage complex, high-risk accounts with empathy, resilience, adaptability, and sound judgment.
• Contribute to defined KPIs and performance results while maintaining a human-centered approach to collections.

Requirements

• At least one year of collections and/or sales experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced call-center environment and handle customer emotions professionally.
• Strong communication, persuasion, negotiation, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Must attend the office in Lehi on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; the position is not eligible for fully remote placement.
• Position is ineligible for visa sponsorship.
