Collections Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Lehi, Utah, United States; hybrid work with in-office attendance required Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Remote placement will not be considered. Work-from-home candidates must live and work within 75 miles of the hiring office.

Salary: $18.00 per hour base plus monthly performance-based bonuses; average earnings of $22–$25 per hour.

What you will do

• Make approximately 100–120 outbound collections calls daily using an auto-dialer in a high-volume environment.
• Navigate difficult conversations, overcome objections, influence outcomes, and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Listen to members’ goals and needs and tailor solutions using company tools and resources.
• Contribute to defined KPIs and results while maintaining a human-centered approach to collections.

Requirements

• At least one year of collections and/or sales experience.
• Strong communication, persuasion, negotiation, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work professionally and respectfully in a high-stress environment involving emotionally difficult customer interactions.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• For remote work from home, residence and work location must be within 75 miles of the hiring office.
• This position is ineligible for visa sponsorship.
