Director, Corporate Finance & Accounting

Location: Washington, DC, United States; onsite role

Salary: $185,000–$250,000 annually, plus bonus or incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Serve as a financial advisor to operating companies and senior management while reviewing actuals, forecasts, budgets, strategic plans, and consolidated financial statements.
• Oversee corporate financial reporting, accounting systems, treasury accounting, and accounting for U.S. and non-U.S. debt positions, swaps, and related hedge documentation.
• Support preparation of 10-Q and 10-K filings, SEC reviews, and external audit planning and execution.
• Interpret and implement new accounting standards and provide technical accounting guidance on U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Manage a team of three direct reports, coordinate with broader finance teams, and respond to analysis requests from finance, investor relations, corporate development, and CFO organizations.
• Maintain accounting procedures and policy manuals and lead process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• BS or BA in Finance or Accounting and CPA certification.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible finance and accounting leadership experience.
• Deep knowledge of SEC reporting, U.S. GAAP, and public company accounting.
• Experience managing finance and accounting activities across multiple countries and business units.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, influencing, governance, internal controls, and business partnership skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC.
