PCB Simulation & Design Verification Engineer

What you will do

• Develop PCB-based power electronic solutions according to technical requirements.
• Verify concepts from manual drawings and simulate functionality, high-voltage, high-current, EMC, and thermal performance.
• Calculate PCB layout parasitics, estimate component lifetime, and design power loops and routing for accuracy and reliability.
• Select electrical components and build and maintain component libraries.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the development process.
• Manage testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, performance evaluation, documentation, and training for developed solutions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
• Professional experience developing or simulating PCB-based power electronic components or systems.
• Experience with PCB development standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Practical experience with electrical circuit simulation and PCB layout/parasitics simulation tools.
• Knowledge of Power Loop design and routing for accuracy and reliability in harsh environments.
• Knowledge of Ansys Q3D and Icepak.
