Salary: $99,000–$143,000 per year

Steam & Air Solutions provides turbine-drive and shipboard compression equipment for U.S. Navy vessels, including systems for propulsion, power generation, air supply, and deballasting.

What you will do

  • Administer assigned government and commercial contracts, contract changes, obligations, and work authorizations.
  • Review contractual documents for compliance with company policies, government requirements, customer specifications, and master agreements.
  • Lead contract negotiations, develop negotiation strategies, and recommend contract language within corporate guidelines.
  • Lead proposal development, pricing analysis, data compilation, and preparation of large customer proposals.
  • Participate independently in internal and external compliance audits and improve contract procedures.
  • Serve as a primary customer contact, lead internal functional discussions, and support onboarding and training for less experienced contracts professionals.

Requirements

  • US citizenship is required due to Department of Defense requirements.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD security clearances and approvals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • 7–12 years of applicable contract experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication, organizational, presentation, and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and meet strict deadlines.

Nice to have

  • Government or commercial nuclear contracts experience.
  • Contract negotiation experience.
