Contract Manager (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Onsite in Littleton, Colorado, United States; travel between multiple sites may be required.

Base salary: $140,000–$165,000 per year, excluding benefits and bonus or incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Manage contracts across the full lifecycle, from RFP and proposal through negotiation, award, execution, and closeout.
• Lead contract structuring and negotiations with primes, customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Identify contractual, financial, scope, pricing, compliance, and operational risks and drive mitigation strategies.
• Support proposal strategy, business development, pricing alignment, and opportunity risk-reward assessments.
• Ensure contract documentation, audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and appropriate subcontractor and supplier flowdowns.
• Partner with Programs, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and maintain program execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Contracts, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in contracts.
• Strong experience with commercial fixed-price contracts and FAR/DFARS flowdowns.
• Ability to independently negotiate complex agreements and analyze and mitigate contractual risk.
• Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Applicants must be U.S. Persons and eligible to obtain required export authorizations under ITAR and EAR.

Nice to have

• Experience transitioning from commercial to government contracting environments.
• NCMA CPCM or CCCM certification.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing.
