Senior Java Developer (Fintech)

Location: Remote or hybrid work from Georgia, Poland, Serbia, Portugal, Cyprus, Armenia, or Spain. Relocation to Poland or Cyprus is supported.

What you will do

• Develop Java-based solutions for automating fund portfolio management processes.
• Build and enhance a Portfolio Order Management System for investment orders and portfolios.
• Support portfolio management, execution management, risk management, trade tracking, and reporting.
• Apply event-driven architecture and real-time messaging to solve complex technical and business problems.
• Contribute to CI/CD practices, code reviews, logging, and automated testing.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Java programming experience, including Java Core and multithreading.
• Experience with Spring, Apache libraries, and other large open-source libraries.
• Experience with Kafka or another real-time messaging system, and familiarity with event-driven architecture using AMPS, MQ, or Kafka.
• Experience with SQL and microservices, plus the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
• Automated tests are required for merge requests.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
