What you will do

Develop and maintain components for a tax administration system covering tax declarations, calculations, assessments, and external-system integrations.
Implement software according to design specifications and perform system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
Write unit tests and participate in effort estimation, delivery planning, and technical roadmap discussions.
Collaborate with project stakeholders and distributed teammates to ensure predictable project delivery.
Participate in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization.
Support and optimize CI/CD processes.

Requirements

6+ years of Java development experience.
Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, REST/SOAP integrations, and messaging systems such as Kafka or ActiveMQ.
Good understanding of software testing principles.
Confident English communication and strong collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

Nice to have

Angular front-end development experience.
German or Swiss German language skills.
